LAYOUT
BAHNPOST (RAILWAY POST OFFICE)

This is a two track site with three platform edges and is capable of holding six scale lenght 1/87 (303mm long) Deutches Bundespost coaches.
The building is made using two POLA umfal clinic kits and the canopy is made up from brass section with the plastic canopies from the kits.
This site generates shunting moves with Postal coaches being added to/or removed from trains calling at the main station.
UBERFUHRUNG KLEEBLATT
(Overbridge)

First of the bridges heading out towards Koln.
I am experimenting in the construction method by using new style form boards and Merker brick/stone walling, but as you can see blue edges to the masonery.
The bridge plate girders are from brass sheet and section soldered together,The road and pavement are a Busch product.
Two Coal burning DB 01.10 locos stabled in the siding, left hand model by Gebauer and the other is a Liliput (Wien) model.
UBERFUHRUNG KOLNER STRASSE
This is the veiw from the second bridge in the Koln direction, Looking towards the station.
Construction method as the Kleeblatt bridge.
DB Loks BR50 400/ BR01.10's and BR78
UBERFUHRUNG SUDSTRASSE
View under the third bridge showing that ballasting has been started.Loose granite chips and PVA glue then painted Railmatch track grime,Awful job on a layout this large, but the finished affect say's DampfLok's.
Track furniture is also being installed, points have EpochIII lanterns fitted and speed limit signs are up.
The bridges and walls are not fixed as yet, just installed to see the affect.
STELLWERK (SIGNAL BOX)
This is nothing like the prototype, the only thing it has in common is that it is the overhead type,But I like it.The station name board needs applying to the railings.
The other missing part on the layout is a second track passing underneath (to the left of the other one) ending at a buffer stop at the end of the platform (Lokwartergleis?).
Faller kit repainted.
STORAGE SIDINGS DUSSELDORF/KOLN END
STORAGE SIDINGS HAGEN END
KOLN END

This section will be mainly industrial,Up grading of signals is in hand with Veissmann Formsignals replacing colour light units.
Ballasting well under way.
Station starting to take shape, these shots show the Bahnpost(Post office)building on the right and trains passing through the station. On the left hand side Roco VT11.5 on "Hans Sachs" F37/F38 10 coach diesel multiple unit departs and on the right hand side Lima V300 diesel arrives with a Expressgutpostzug.

Rebuilt Coal burning DB Class BR 41 (Roco/Fleischmann rebuilt model), 2-8-2 hauled heavy freight train passing through on the left and a Liliput DB Class BR 78,4-6-4T propelled Essen train (Ade coaches) departing on the right.
Bahnpost and sidings,Looks very busy.Coaches from sachenmodel,Liliput and Roco(Rowa).

Two express trains pass the factory of WALTEC Maschinen Gmbh.

Waltec factory is now taking shape.20 hours construction time has already been done and I think that the same amount of time will be needed to finish it
